Women in Localization Industry

Updated: Jul 10, 2022

Box of Chocolates 2

This is the topic of a unique mixed online/offline event that will take place this Saturday, July 25 at 6 pm GMT+2 as a part of the UTICamp-2020 Translation Industry Conference.

I am honoured to take part in it as a co-host. Together with Tetyana Struk we will meet with some amazing representatives of the Localization Industry from different countries and ask what does it actually mean to be a Women in Localization.

The Box of Chocolate series of interviews is a forum for people from the translation and localization industry to share their success and failure stories.

Last year Tetyana and I talked to the founders of some Ukrainian and Russian translation companies (you can watch the record interpreted in English here). Except for one participant all of them were men. This year they decided to let women speak.

Join us online (free!) to listen, ask questions, and get inspired by the prominent representatives of the Language Industry.

BTW, the conference is ongoing and will last till Saturday night and you may find other interesting topics in the program.
